awesome. An oft-used word, but one which I mean from the heart. This is a must-have for the esoteric amongst us psych fans. I only know about 25% of this mix, but already I am slabbering to hear the rest.

This ain't Bollywood - that should be made clear right from the start. Whatever your notions, emotions and connotions regarding the sitar, you can just leave them at the door before playing this mix, because if you don't, this mix will kick them right out the door.
Yes - there are trippy trax on here; yes - there are psychedelic trax on here; yes - there are trax that, at times, border on traditional Indian music - at least to these westernly tuned ears. But there's blooze, there's rawk, there's garage & a small sprinkling of electronic noodling. On many trax, I found myself listening intently for the sitar, only to discover other nuances and connections. This ain't your Padma's sitar stuff - this is SITARCON 3!
