Comment:

A long-overdue and long-brewing addition to the other two - this one's a bit easier on the ears than volume 2, it must be said! I try generally to stick to artists who, for the most part, are important to post-punk, or are part of the revival or whatever you want to call it right now, but there are some here who can be considered to be genre-straddling - The Human League, for example. It's a broad genre in itself, however. The title's from one of my favourite purveyors of all things grey and bleak and post-punky, Joy Division's She's Lost Control.

The Flying Lizards alone makes this mix aces in my book, but that's only scratching the surface. Much more fun stuff here, including the Fall, the Wedding Present, Subway Sect...

Marvelous mix and cover! It's rare to see Section 25 turn up on mixes posted here, so it's good to see them representin'. Also like the YMG, Flying Lizards and that Human League song, which inspired the name of one of my old mixes.
