Comment:

This has been waiting to be made for absolutely ages, the poor thing, but, due to a combination of a near-meltdown of my computer, there's been no mixing or burning for a while around here. However, now that everything's back up and running, I did finally manage to get it done. Whereas the last two were a bit tangential, this one is a bit more standard post-punk, but not too bleak, (with the exception of the track by The Normal, which is a little disconcerting at the best of times). The title's from the book 24 Hour Party People, where Tony Wilson constantly tells his readers this, and where he also uses the phrase "all the way to post-punk heaven" to describe a gig. Sounds good to me. :)

Oooh what a hunka hunka burning nostalgia. I remember having Read About Seymour on my turntable for a LONG time in the mid-80s.

Top picks that could only come from someone who was there. This should send me on an excursion into the vaults for some lost grooves.
