Comment:
Lullabies, inspired by a baby I know. Some of them are maybe debatable in that genre - I'm still a bit worried over whether the Galaxie 500 track gets a bit loud, but in the case of that one and others, there's still something quite soothing about the way the songs themselves move. Thank you muchly to Shawn for the Okkervil River track, and to Cliff for the Ed Harcourt one, from which the title also comes.
Feedback:
Looks lovely, Siobhan :)
Very sweet, especially the Harcourt, Greg Davis and Branford Marsalis.
OOOH. Very nice. Great picks from the Dirty Three, Okkervil River, Twilight Singers, Galaxie, Piano Magic, Mogwai and Sigur Ros... I'll have to investigate the rest...
Looks great, Siobhan, and I hope you're not working too hard on those exams! PS Love that Santo&Johnny track.
Absolutely beautiful. That's a stunningly great Dirty Three opener and fantastic Galaxie pick.
This looks wonderful. Let's talk trade.
(whispering)I'm with Muzag, nice go here Siobhan...(shhh.)
relaxin' for a great time round, finefine
Like the ones I know esp. Sigur Ros, Mogwai and Eno, and curious about the rest esp. Noirfn nf Rfain and monks of Glenstal Abbey
A Sleeping Beauty!
Looks mighty fine as usual you Indie Queen you!
this looks truly great. love the cover art as well.
Lovely as usual, though I can't help think that some Plasmatics song would be right at home here. The cover perfectly captures the feel of a late night ride -- just before you fall asleep at the wheel.
Wonderful! If I had heard this as a baby, I'm sure I'd be enlightened by now. :-)
Another fine mix. That's a great Rachel's pick for this mix.
Looks great. Mighty fine cover, too.
Really, really fantastic.
Looks really pretty -- I usually don't like sleep mixes (mostly because people pick stuff that makes me wonder how they ever sleep to it!) but this is a gentle lulling mix.
Hmmm - hmmm - hmmmmm, and goodnight...
Beautiful!
Beautiful!
Going by your other mixes, this will be good, but, I don't know anything on it.
Sorry I missed this one. What everybody else said...really, really lovely stuff. Your welcome for the Okkervil River track. Lots of other great picks on here, as usual.
Lots I don't know, but your sense and sensibility tend to be impeccable!
I missed this one too- a marvellous work. Very eerie and pretty by turns.
Lovely Siobhan - I'd like to trade for this sometime.
