Comment:
His life, his loves, the neighbourhood and those within it. Go now.., safe voyage Dempster.Feedback:
Ah now this is superb Sir Valis even though I know a smattering of tracks!
I thought I'd find that Embrooks' tune here. Nice ones from Essex Green & the Pretties as well.
Eminently fantascinating.
The neighborhood and those within it... hmmmm... fascinating.... even Auntie Grizelda, the only neighbor I have met...
What a curious community. David Watts would love it there.
I like it. Particularly your Essex Green pick.
well I used that Gasolin track on my guilty pleasure mix ;) A lot of unheard gems here but I trust you
Looks good
A beautiful neighbourhood it is indeed.
Man, this is awesome. Especially love that Essex Green pick.
this looks interesting........can never have enough musings!!!!!
Yep, another interesting trip.
wowee. A trip into the light fantastic, and fantastic it is. Especially digging muchly the Pretty Things and Traffic. Lots of old and new favs here. Bravo!
The little I do know here (Pretty Things, Sugarplastic, that kick-ass Monkees tune), I love. I'm sorry Sir Dempster had to go, but if his passing inspired this, then it was not in vain.
You've made Sir Dempster proud, I'm sure. Wowee!
I wondered who'd been bodging Mmes. Bean & Walker ..... to say nothing of the Aunties. Good thing Uncle Syd never found out.
5,6,8,14,19&20 are worhty of your high standards as well, I'm sure, the rest.
This looks exceptional Valis! Not sure who Mr. Orbitron is, but he must be one swell guy to merit this more than worthy tribute. Especially like seeing a double dose of Pilot, Essex Green, WAT, Rutles and that long, but not forgotten, Space song. R.I.P. Sie Dempster
I like the look of this Valis. Poor old Dempster.
Seem to have been quite a cool old geezer . . .
This looks amazing, valis!
excellent mix of british style psych. draw me a pint of shandy and drop some doses into it, baby!
Almost slipped by unnoticed. This appears to be an essential tribute to the man that were Orbitron. Though, are you sure he's not just napping? I love what I know and would love hear what I don't.
not sure how i missed it, but it's fantastic.
I've just been on a trip to Sir Dempster's kinky neighborhood, & although I'm not sure I could live there, it sure is a fun place to hang out . . .
I could almost swear I spotted Ray Davies, the Zombies, & the Dukes of Stratosphear peeking out of some of the upstairs windows, but when I looked again, they were gone . . .
Particular highlights of my stay were the lovely flute solo in the Essex Green song, the jug psych from the Purple Gang, the cartoon punchy pop of Pugwash, & the dark sweet Sugarplastic.
All the Aunties & Uncles & I had a picnic in the strawberry fields nearby, a fine time was had by all, & I plan on going back again & again!
Thank you valis for the invitation & introduction . . .

very cool looking mix..walter ghouls lavendar brigade sounds intriguing..the titles really work well together..when i even up the trades i would like a copy of this..but in the meantime i owe you some tunes.
Valis, this looks pretty cool--especially the Telepathic Butterflies (you sent me a disk of their music a long time ago).
Valis, what is this all about? I seem to be the only ignaramus in town.
