Comment:

This one's for a friend who shares my passion for Brave Combo. We both have lots of long dark hair, which frightens the dancers around us as it whips around when we polka like dervishes. And he's as big a geek as I am (when I told him my laptop double-boots Windows XP & Linux, his response was, "God, you are so HOT!!!"). Beyond polka and Latin, our musical tastes have relatively little overlap. He's big on electronica, jazz, and prog: three genres about which I am woefully ignorant. I'm very curious to learn his reaction to this.

Title from Mr. Lehrer.

Thanks to Radio Sally for "My Sweet Hunk o' Trash," and to The Misfit for "Your Molecular Structure."

Great stuff. Like the inclusion of jazz & latin & Tom Lehrer. Haven't seen Bravo Combo in a while, but still love the albums. I love their covers - People are Strange & 15 Tons are my favs.

Jenny, Jenny, Jenny! This is great!!!!! I, too, have a passion for Brave Combo (going to see them in KC again next week!), and this looks like a winner to me! Great job! And if you are ever in KC when BC are in town, gimme a call and we can dance like dervishes all you want.

A passion for Brave Combo brilliantly exemplified without using any actual Brave Combo tracks -that's sharp! I'm tappin' my feet, I'm tapping my head, I'm tapping in to that molecular structure!

I love that old doo-woppy Sun Ra tune, from when he was still a terrestrial, I think. But this mix was clearly conceived & executed by an EXTRA-terrestrial . . . from a HOT planet!
