Comment:
Another one for Matt. I gave this to him when he came to stay last week; now that he's gone back, there's 281 miles to contend with.... Title taken from This Is A Low, the only song I know of which is based on the Shipping Forecast. (But if there are any others, do let me know!)
Feedback:
Lots of great stuff on this!
A rare old mix indeed. I used to share a flat with a trawlerman in Newlyn, Cornwall, and you would not believe some of the shenanigans that goes on in the Bay of Biscay in the middle of the night. Rum, sodomy and the lash are the very least of it. Smuggling, piracy and jiggery-pokery no less.

This looks really great, Ms. Siobhan. I'm esp partial to the Clash, Blur, Pistols, NMH, Specials, Undertones, Nerves and Psych Furs picks.
Monks of Simonopetra Monastery!!!!!
Bunch of f'n party animals I bet.
Anyhoo, cool mix...dig the artwork as well.

Showers. Good.
oh wow, the title is what drew me in (i love blur and that song especially) and the entire mix is great.
I love your thoroughness. It brings a swell to my chest.
5,6 & 7. What a run.Superb mix.
Cool. Love the Psych. Furs song you've chosen.
Looks like fascinating selections.
Wonderful.
Nicely done. I would love to give this a listen!
Beautiful mix. Quite a bit I'm liking here especially that 5-8 stretch.
nicely put together!
Lovely as always. I'm so envious of your little neck of the woods. Three cheers for the Lilac Time!
damn fine
Awesome mix full of nice picks.
you had my heart with the title and kept it throughout the mix:)sparkling!
Love this stuff. By the way, I did not know there were any songs based on the shipping forecast.
Late to the party, I see...very nice work, Siobhan - & a great song from whence to grab the mix's title.
Miss Indie strikes again...luv that depressing picture (lol)...terrific line-up & wot a great gift!
Tea-riffic! Nice to see Hunters & Collectors make the scene. Haven't heard them in 16 years.
What a trip! Gale-force winds blowing through "jimmy jimmy", then a calmer stretch around that bird on the wire . . . altogether a rollicking voyage.
Loads to like her Siobhan & that's my all-time fave Pistols track to boot.If you want the rest of the bass series I can sort that for you along with anything else that might catch your eye. It's snowing here in France so I've got the day off to play hooray!
Don't know how I missed this, Siobhan. This looks wonderful. Especially like the 13-18 stretch. Very nice.
