Great mix!!! Glad I got it in Moody's Harvest Mix trade!!

I never know what to expect when I look at one of 'French Connection's' mixes. I see a bunch of stuff I don't know and I begin to think "this is a little too indie for me" -then I get slammed with some stuff that I do know - it leaves me scratching my head. This one has a bunch of stuff I know and love on it and I wanted to add it to my fav's to remind me of the fact that I may not always see a bunch of stuff that I know ~ but that doesn't mean it's not cool! Great mix!

I'd have to agree with this mix. The singles, Muzzle, Beautiful, Love all solid songs that I love from this album... Probably what the mix would look like if I would have undertaken it. Only things I think I would add is XYU (Pumpkins classic)and Bodies (personal favorite). Excellent mix!

Looking through all of Walter's mixes, it felt impossible to come not put at least one as a favorite. He mixes like I want to/or used to. Some of the song selections are brilliant! My favorite picks on this have to be the STP, VU, SP's and Bowie picks. It's people like Walter that make this site worth my trip! Bravo!

I had a friend, who wasnt't familar with Tom Petty but was into tons of indie acts, ask if it was a cover of the Strokes before the singing started, strange how that is!! What a great mix!!!

I really like this mix! It's really sober and solid. I really like the M. Ward, (of course) D. Bowie, Mason Jennings, Ted Leo, Springsteen, Travis & STP songs!

The flow going into this mix really captured my attention, and kept me very happy that I traded for it!! The New Pornographers, Of Montreal, Placebo, Jesus & Mary Chain, Pearl Jam, Wilco & Lemonheads songs were perfectly used!! Love this mix!!!
