If an idle mind is the devil's workshop, then my friends, I have been doing Satan's bidding all of my life... and for the last 24 hours, that bidding has bid me to play with legos... definitely worth the trade-off. I've practically got the lego version of the Tower of Babel sitting on top of my bed. So while this mix is ostensibly for a buddy of mine, its real purpose has been the soothing of my aching back as I toil hour upon hour constructing my inanimate evil empire.But don't worry, we can still hang out when I'm king.

Oh boy this is very much my cup of musical tea. Great picks throughout but 14-20 are from some of my favourite records of this year and in the case of 19 last year.Great stuff.
Lots of stuff I'm currently into especially that closer. Great mix.
barry- yeah, with the exception of the a/f, this sort of turned into a catalogue of 2006 releases. i've been grooving on the m.ward and brightblack albums hardcore... chill tunes for warm weather. ;)

Well now. This is an excellent mix. However, due to my "looking a bit stupid now, but I can't seem to help myself" stance concerning the non-use of upper case letters, I was going to abstain from commenting. Cripes! That was a long-winded and tortuous sentence. As I was attempting to say -- I vowed never to comment upon mixes that lacked capital letters. Nonetheless, you very kindly commented on some of my mixes; and it would be most churlish of me not to reciprocate. Phew, what a load of tosh, eh.This really is a good `un. As I live and breathe I love the Morrissey pick. The mix appears to flow nicely. Only the missing capital letters detract from the overall picture. See - I couldn't stop myself. Thanks again for your positive comments. I'll keep my eyes peeled and my mind open.
Goodness me. I never realized that I might be offending fellow mixers by not using capital letters... infact, on my last posted mix, "Love & Communication", sammyg123 complained that I had not included the band named Capital Letters... this must be a sign.

Sheesh...yeah, that no capital letters in yr mixes thing really chaps my hide! ;-)Ummm...anyways, now that I can finally check this out in its entirety, it looks pretty fucking stupendous. That Black Angels/Pink Mountaintops pairing totally rocks as does pretty much everything else on here. killer stuff.
