New Slough: New Slang's Ugly Twin
Comment:
Because I can. and roadtripping season approacheth for V9. so that's always a reason. what's not to love about rockin' out in the car? mixes like this have saved my life (via road rage avoidance) on numerous occasions... can't dance angry. can't dance angry. Rob: great recommend on roxy music. really fantastic stuff... it got me through a six hour compliance meeting this week. that and 'ruby blue'... and captain morgan. brutal. four out of five people i met at the meeting were named barbara or bob. the saddest part was, i was too bored to laugh about it.
Feedback:
great stuff!
full of great bands, Nice Job!
awesome, as per usual, zeke.
Looks great to me. You're welcome (which Roxy LPs did I recommend?!?).
Nice looking thang - I've heard of about 1/3 of these...& i notice that there is no spoon
;-]
;-]
RC: I think the recommendation was more of the general persuasion... i.e. get something and get it now... so I picked up Avalon and their self titled... glad you all like it... and they're fraternal twins... in case anyone was confused.
I'm currently in love with that New Pornographers song. Cool mix.
Looks good. Feels good. Sounds good, too. (Uh-huh that's right)
I thought this was gonna be a mix inspired by BBC's The Office which is set in Slough...anyway it's not...a good lookin' mix!
ha! sweet show. great location. thanks anyway.
I dig it! Full Of Great Bands! I am sure it did the trick offsetting those angry feelings. You did it again!
Cool title. Now I'm wondering if there are other songs that have twins, either ugly or beautiful...
This mix is dripping with great tunes. Thanks for the recent comments on my mixes -- yes we should orchestrate a swap one of these days
Yeah, this'd keep your foot tappin' on the pedal. Trading again sounds good to me too.
This is great.
Really nice. You're right: there is a great deal to love about rockin' out in the car. Love the Magic Numbers, Pulp and especially the BSP.
Nice.
