Another Sunday in the trenches. Ever stumble across something that seemed a little too good to be true only to watch it crumble to ashes, blazing down to the netherworld in a screaming vortex of terror and flame? Behold: the life of Zeke. I am 5'8", 145 pounds, on a diet of rice and mineral water (lightweight rowing), a shell of a man, limping through my last semester of college, 3500 miles away from my family, and my team lost to Princeton yesterday by less than a second.Ode to the dashed dreams and mangled bodies of those who died trying.... with a little ray of hope at the end: only six weeks until commencement. And dear god, what am I going to do then.
If anyone knows a sweet Seattle radiostation looking to hire someone to fill the graveyard shift in the near future, I'm all ears.
For V9, but dedicated to Chloe, the overly-chipper girl in my Music Humanities class. I hope the next time she gets a double scoop ice cream cone, the ice cream part falls off of the cone part and lands in Australia.

great mix, but I'm confused by the Decemberists track--they have two with Angels in them. one is "Angels & Angles" and the other is "Angel, Why Won't You Call Me?" is there another one? <3.

Very cool mix, zeke. That Pink Mountaintops track has been in HEAVY rotation for me, lately, which often results in some very inappropriate moments. ;-) By the way, it's a natural pairing with that other mountain-fucking tune by the Palace Muaic. look for it soon on a SP mix near you :-)

What I know I like. Some of the newer tracks I haven't heard yet but now I'll check them out.good luck surviving the next 6 weeks. the rest you'll figure out in due time.
